According to sources from Algeria, the Algerian government authorities have refused to allow Mamelodi Sundowns to enter Algeria due to SA COVID-19 strain fear. Therefore, Tuesday's match against CR Belouizdad is LIKELY to be postponed if CRB fails to find nuetral venue in time. These news are contradicting with a letter sent by the Algerian Football Association which stated that Sundowns has been cleared to enter Algeria. Both CRB and AFA are still looking for a way forward.


Tomorrow CAF will meet with SAFA, Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates to find a way forward since our continental opponents doesnt want to come South Africa and their nations prevent South African teams from entering their countries for away matches.
