●1. CASTLE PREMIERSHIP- Sundowns won league title In final season of Castle as psl sponsorship in 2006-07 and Castle left PSL as sponsor end of that season and ABSA took the reigns from 2007-08.
●2. ABSA PREMIERSHIP- Sundowns won league title in final season of Absa as psl sponsorship in 2019-20 and ABSA left psl that season and DSTV took the reigns as it is now.
■ Sundowns is the first team to win a game by margin of more than 15 goals by 24-0(Sundowns vs Powerlines FC- 04 March 2012 Nedbank cup) after Pirates won 10-1 against Chiefs( Bob Save Super Bowl- 7 March 1999) and as well as Chiefs won 9-1 against Manning Rangers(Coca-Cola Challenge- 23 March 1996).
■ Sundowns is the first team to win Nedbank Cup in 2008 after it was renamed from ABSA cup.
■ Sundowns is the first team to participate in CAF Champions League 12 and 4 times in CAF Confederation Cup than any other team in PSL.
