The Federation of South Africa and the three clubs Kaizer Chiefs, SunDowns and Orlando Pirates, in their meeting held this afternoon with the leaders of the Confederation of African Football via video conference, refused to play in neutral places and adhered to the application of the regulation on the clubs and countries that refuse to perform matches. The South African Union announced the results of its meeting with Samson Adamu, director of competitions in CAF. as the clubs or countries do not wish to travel to South Africa or allow South Africa to travel to these countries, and therefore those clubs and countries must lose matches in accordance with the CAF regulations. The meeting was attended by members of the medical committee of the African Union with the administration of the competitions .. According to sources from Algeria, the Algerian government authorities have refused to allow Mamelodi Sundowns to enter Algeria due to SA COVID-19 strain fear. Therefore, Tuesday's match against CR Belouizdad is LIKELY to be postponed if CRB fails to find nuetral venue in time. These news are contradicting with a letter sent by the Algerian Football Association which stated that Sundowns has been cleared to enter Algeria.
